Jan-Feb I was on a business trip to Austria. It was a great experience. Loved every minute, but missed Cool Ranch.
Once I was reunited with Cool Ranch back in the states the alarm system was sporadic and would trigger randomly. This eventually lead to a a crank no start issue with 0v at the 5v trigger wire to the coils.
This issue was attacked by replacing the fuel system since it initially stalled at a light, so naturally I assumed fuel starvation.
After that didn’t fix it, I purchased the rotary compression tools I needed. I found out there was better compression than I thought.
I then checked the CAS and from there discovered it was electrical the whole time.
I swapped ECUs, CAS, etc etc…. Found the trigger wire at fault finally and through networking figured it was the security system.
Since then I’ve disabled most of it and will finalize the deletion soon.
I need the car timed, which should be later today. Then I’ll figure out the rest of the security stuff.
Hopefully I get to drift it this year….
